OUR STORY

   The brand was founded by me, Jana Baťková, a mother of two children — five-year-old Jáchym and two-year-old Lotka. I studied Sound Design at FAMU and worked in the film industry for several years. The idea of creating baby mobiles came spontaneously in 2018. At the time, I was pregnant with my first child and couldn’t find a mobile on the market that was both practical and a beautiful addition to a child’s room. So I created the first pieces, and in October 2018 the entire brand was born.

   I take care of the day-to-day running of the company, customer care, social media, and shipping. I create mobiles for you, finish wooden lights, toys for baby gyms, and teething toys. What I enjoy most is designing new toys and accessories. My goal is to combine style, quality, and functionality in every product.

 

   Jana is my mother. She became part of the production process in 2020. She studied transport engineering, but changed careers fifteen years ago. She now helps people with health issues through detoxification medicine. When she is not in her practice, she prepares music boxes and components for the mobiles. Her greatest priority is delivering flawless and meticulously crafted work.

 

   Zuzka is our newest team member. She sews the fabric teething toys shaped like a lemon and an acorn, toys for baby gyms, and more recently also wall flowers and garlands. She has been close to the sewing machine since elementary school. She studied fashion design and later expanded from dressmaking into mascot production. She also works on costumes for musicals and films. Zuzka is not afraid of any challenge and enjoys constantly learning new things. While she works, she is often assisted by her five-year-old daughter, Terezka.

   Every member of our team is someone I trust completely. Thanks to their wonderful character and attention to detail, you receive a beautiful product made with the utmost care.

   Working with these local makers allows us to produce our toys in a sustainable way — not only by choosing materials sourced from the Czech Republic and Europe, but above all through the manufacturing process itself, which takes place exclusively here in the Czech Republic.

   Personally, I am incredibly grateful for the support we receive, thanks to which we can inspire other brands to build their businesses in a similar spirit. This approach to production is what makes the most sense to me. And we do it not only for the satisfaction of creating quality work, but above all for the new little generation growing up around us.
